The present work deals with the development of a precise, accurate, simple, specific, reliable and less time consuming RP-HPLC method for the estimation of Aceclofenac and Tramadol tablets .The chromatographic separation was achieved on a Inertsil C18 ODS(4.6 x 250mm, 5μm) with a mobile phase combination of methanol and water (50:50) v/v at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min, and the detection was carried out by using PDA detector at 290 nm. Ambient column temperature has maintained. The total run time was 10mins.The retention time of Tramadol and Aceclofenac were found to be 2.9 min. and 3.5 min. respectively. The performance of the method was validated according to the present ICH guidelines.
