Effect of Fertilizer Levels on Yield and Yield Contributing Characters of Sweet Corn
Subscribe/Renew Journal
A field experiment was conducted during Kharif at Agronomy Farm, Latur to study the effect of fertilizer level on sweet corn. Application of 100:50:50 kg NPK ha-1 (T3) recorded significantly more length of cob, diameter of cob, number of grains per cob, number of grains plant-1, grain and straw yield than FYM alone and FYM + Azospirillum application. The treatment (T4) application of 100% RDF 120:60:60 kg NPK ha-1 was at par with treatment (T3). The treatment of 100 % RDF through FYM recorded significantly the lowest grain and straw yield.
