The book is an ambitious and intricate analysis of a topic which has assumed increasing importance in the post-liberalization period. It is divided into 12 chapters and each of them has made an important contribution to the analysis of trade in the service sector. This latter generates maximum share of income in most economies of the world including India, and it is rapidly increasing. Also, the international trade in services is growing at a much higher rate than that of goods.
