Factor Affecting the Attitude of the Agricultural Scientists towards Publication

The present study was undertaken in Anand Agricultural University of Gujarat State. For this study, 120 respondents were selected randomly. The data reveal that "Favorable attitude towards publication" was the prime motive behind writing the articles. Further, large numbers of agricultural scientist have not published single research paper in state and national level then few per cent agricultural scientists publishing 1 to 10 research paper on state and national level. Agricultural Scientists had half per cent publishing article in state level and less than half per cent publishing national level journals, then few agricultural scientists have written books at state and national level. However, the attitude towards publication was found that all the variables included in the study were positively and significantly correlated with the attitude towards publication. Further, the only awards were found non-significantly co-related with attitude towards publication.
