Tracheal Restenosis with Tracheocutaneous and Tracheooesophagial Fistula: Anaesthetic Challenges

A patient with restenosis of trachea with Tracheo-oesophagial and Tracheo-cutaneous fistula poses several challenges to an anaesthetist. The main challenges involved were a sharing of airway with the surgeons, difficulty in securing airway due to the stenosis, risk of aspiration and air leak.
