Perioperative Management of Puberty Menorrhagia in a 14year Old Girl with Glanzmanns Thrombasthenia for Mirena® Insertion
Glanzmanns Thrombasthenia is a rare inherited platelet disorder characterised by complete lack of platelet aggregation with clinical features of epistaxis, gum bleeding, menorrhagia. It has incidence of 1in 1 million population, more common in population with consanguineous marriages.
