Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) ankylosis presents with restricted mandibular movements. Blind nasal intubation, retrograde intubation, fibreoptic guided intubation, cricothyrotomy and tracheostomy are the various techniques available for restricted mouth opening. Here we report airway management with blind nasal intubation in a child with recurrent unilateral left TMJ ankylosis posted for interposition arthroplasty.
