Anaesthetic Management of Achondroplastic Dwarf Posted for Emergency Caesarean Section

Achondroplasia is the most common cause of dwarfism which results from a spontaneous fibroblast growth factor receptor gene mutation. Affected patients typically have short limbs and large head. The safe delivery of anaesthesia requires the understanding of the pathophysiology of this disease.
