Anaesthetic Management of Congenital Diaphramatic Hernia with Patent Ductus Arteriosus
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a rare congenital anomaly occurring approximately 1:2500 live births, presenting as neonatal surgical emergency1. CDH is associated with congenital heart disease (CHD) amongst which ventricular septal defect is the most common2. Association of PDA with CDH is a rare situation which adds to the pulmonary artery hypertension already existent in CDH.
