Bilateral Pneumothorax, one Side Immediate and the other Side Delayed
Insertion of central venous catheters (CVCs) is a common procedure performed in operating room and intensive care. It is associated with a varying risk of complications, depending on the setting, patient condition, site of insertion and the skill of the clinician who undertakes the procedure. Though pneumothorax is known complication of theCVCit commonly occurs immediately and very rarely as a delayed complication.
