A Comparative Clinical Study of Granisetron and Dexamethasone for Prevention of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting after Elective Surgeries under General Anaesthesia
Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is the second most common postoperative complication and distressing symptom in surgical patient. Granisetron and dexamethasone both drugs can be given for prevention of PONV. In this study, our aim is to test overall rate of PONV and to compare antiemetic efficacy of drugs.
