A Comparative Study of Oral Pregabalin and Clonidine for Attenuation of Hemodynamic Responses to Laryngoscopy and Tracheal Intubation in Patients undergoing Laparoscopic Surgery

Direct laryngoscopy and tracheal manipulation is a noxious stimuli, result in increased sympathetic response.  This response should be attenuated by the appropriate premedication, smooth induction, and rapid intubation. And the present study to evaluate and compare oral clonidine and pregabalin premedication on the hemodynamic response following laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation and to assess the adverse events associated with these drugs.
