Effect of Prolonged Sitting Position after Spinal Anaesthesia for Caesarean Delivery-A Prospective Single Blinded Randomised Control Study
Incidence of hypotension in parturients is common because of aortocaval compression by gravid uterus and cephalad spread of local anaesthetics in subarachnoid space. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of prolonged sitting after SAB on sensory block height, incidence of hypotension, ephedrine requirements and duration of postoperative analgesia.
