Efficacy of Ketamine Versus Magnesium Sulphate Gargle in Prevention of Post-Operative Sore Throat in Patients undergoing General Anaesthesia with Endotrachial Intubation; A Controlled Randomized Comparative Trail
Postoperative sore throat is one of the most common complications after endotracheal intubation. Both Ketamine and magnesium can block N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptors and provide central and local analgesia. Aim of our study was to compare the efficacy of magnesium sulfate and ketamine gargle in prevention of postoperative sore throat.
