The under representation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is always a matter of concern worldwide. The sustainability of women scientists in STEM and further getting recognition, awards, rewards and leadership position has been a challenge. However, some of the women scientists have received fellowships like J.C. Bose Fellowship and secured leadership positions.
