Silence is as eloquent as speech; when everything or everybody is silent, what is left is noisy. This saying gets momentum when using modern techniques, a particular piece of genome is cut to silence its activity, reduce its expression or interference and then what is left is noisy. It is noisy, as other expressions become the Noise. CRISPR helps users and researchers achieve these goals, whether ensuring temporary silence or re-writing the codes by accurate insertion/deletion and re-setting the limits of expression. This is possible with the concurrent use of sequence programs: BLAST and FASTA, coupled with the post-insertion modelling technique, providing the researcher with control over the outcome. It allows re-modelling/re-writing of genetic codes with greater accuracy, providing a solution as anticipated or expected. Such range from caffeine-free/low-caffeine coffee to coloured cotton & dogs free of hip dysplasia/gastric torsion or bloat.
