The problem of unsteady free convective flow of a dusty fluid is presented for the effect of magnetic field through a porous medium bounded by an infinite vertical porous plate. The governing equations are the Navier Stokes' equations for the momentum, Energy equations and Continuity equations for the fluid phase and the particle phase. These equations are solved by multi parameter perturbation technique. The influence of Hartmann number, Prandtl number, permeability parameter, sink strength, mass concentration parameter and time relaxation parameter on the velocity and temperature for both fluid and particles are discussed graphically. Also the Skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are discussed through numerical values. It is observed that increasing Prandtl number Pr, mass concentration parameter f and non-dimensional relaxation time parameter decreases the mean temperature and the transient temperature of the dusty fluid. It is noted that the permeability parameter and Magnetic field strength have no effect on the heat transfer coefficient. It is seen that the mean skin-friction increases with increase in permeability parameter K, mass concentration parameter f but decreases with increase in Prandtl number Pr, mass concentration parameter f, Magnetic field strength M and γ and decrease in sink strength S.
