E-Governance and its Projects: A Survey

The government has taken many initiatives in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to provide means of rapid and finer communication, fetch the data and utilization of information to its users. ICT plays major role in development and rapid economic growth of the country. The tools and technique used in E-Governance project provide a blueprint for productive delivery of services to the users at the door step. The enabling role of E-governance encompassing ICT in the delivery of services in the public and government sector has gained acceptance.
