Game Based Learning Improvement Techniques for School Children

This is unlike a normal method of learning, instead it is a fun and interactive way of learning. This is a type of learning which is different from a normal learning method and can able to develop our skills. The duration of the course was around 10 months and it was for the children aged between 10–12years. By using the BMI of the children, they are classified into two categories overweight and obese. Data was collected using a pretested, semi- structured schedule. The children’s BMI was calculated by their height and their weight. Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) on snacking pattern were collected. The course of the study was nearly 21 days and additional 3 week for the snacking knowledge. He study was totally of 3 terms and followed by 1month and 3 months and 6 months. From matriculation school and government aided and government schools the percentage of children selected are 55%, 36%, 9%  for this learning process. After this course of study was completed the skills and attitude of the children were improved a lot when compare to their beginning stage. The developed nutrition games tool was effective in imparting nutrition education for the selected school children.
