An Efficient Algorithm for Reconstruction of Digital Images from Noisy Image Streams
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Image noise removal and image stitching are active areas of research in today’s world. Image noise is some undesirable information in images. Image stitching is an act of merging various overlapping image streams, preserving visual realism. In this paper, an efficient algorithm is proposed for the removal of image noise which is much faster than the existing algorithm. It first removes the noise from the image streams, checks for any overlapping regions between them and stitches them to obtain a complete view using SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm.
