The pomegranate skin and leaf extract can relief the amount of anti-diabetic activity. Leaf is more effective when compared to skin. Alpha amylase and alpha glucosidase inhibiting activities of the leaf are high in anti-diabetic activity. In Pomegranate (Punica granutum) leaf extraction, silver nanoparticles were artificially produced. The artificially produced silver nanoparticles have the capacity to decrease the silver nitrate into silver, that can identified by colour change of the leaf from golden yellow to dark brown . Due to reduction of silver ion, the colour of the leaf changes from light yellow to tea brown and finally chocolate brown because  the skin extract was mixed in the aqueous solution of the silver ion complex. UV-visible spectrum of the solvent medium containing silver nanoparticles showed absorption peak at around 420nm.The leaf extraction of pomegranate contains silver nanoparticles was confirmed with SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy) and XRD(X-Ray powder Diffraction) analysis. The nanoparticles (AgNPs) average size was identified as e 5nm using Debye Scherer’s formula. The artificial production of silver nanoparticles has many advantages as easy process, economic growth etc.

The nanoparticles (AgNPs) average size was identified as e 5nm using Debye Scherer’s formula.
