A Study on Data Transmission in Bluetooth
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Bluetooth is extensively used technology that doesn't require any specialization or application learning. A layman can simply utilize this free-of-cost facility offered by the manufacturer itself. Only Bluetooth compatible devices are required for the data transmission without demanding internet connection, let it be text or multimedia data. There are some speed limitations, battery consumption and less cryptology, occasionally. Therefore, it is more practical to use Bluetooth for the data transmission rather than other transmission medias. It is a wireless technology and forms its own network connecting devices called piconet with restricted area and data size. Data is transmitted with different carrier frequencies through Gaussian frequency shift keying modulation methods to enhance data rate as well as a secure transmission via two secret keys. The present paper illustrates the modulation and link establishment schemes along with the structure and functioning of the protocol.
