Fuzzy Based Intelligent Navigation System for Predicting the Behavior of Drunken Drivers
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Over a decade, road accidents are on the increasing side and the statistical analyses reveal that majority of the accidents cause due to the human error. This may be either because of the drowsiness of the drivers while driving for a longer period of time or may be due to the alcoholic inception by the drivers. So, the need for an intelligent system which automatically detects the alcoholic inception and the drowsiness of the drives leads to various research studies. We propose a method called Fuzzy Based Intelligent Navigation System (FBINS) in which the logical control is maintained and controlled using the fuzzy based navigation and autonomous preservation. In our paper, we consider three parameters for the detection mechanism. viz. vehicle based measures, behavior measures and physiological measures. We also propose the model for navigation using the multi-sensor fusion and integration of multiple controllers. The design analysis is implemented using matlab software and the results show that FBINS produces better results towards detection and navigation of drowsiness in the vehicle movements.
