An Analysis of Cloud Networking and Cloud-based Data Center Networks
Subscribe/Renew Journal
This article introduces the evolution of network infrastructure from physical line to cloud architecture. The network contains information about the 7-layer Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) network stack. This model was originally developed in the 1970s as part of the OSI project, which aims to provide a common network standard with multi-vendor interoperability. OSI is recognized and never replaced as TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) as a major Internet communication standard, but even today, the OSI stack exists in many technical documents and textbooks. Its purpose is to "provide" information to a client device such as a laptop, tablet or smart phone. In most cases, clicking a single website on a client device can result in a large amount of traffic between the servers in the data center.
