This paper presents a multi-output series resonant inverter for induction heating cooking appliances, which employs asymmetric voltage cancellation control, a generalized control technique for resonant inverters for output voltage control. It ensures better efficiency performances than conventional control strategies. The objective of this work is to model and simulate closed loop controlled multi output series resonant inverter system. The synthesized converter can be considered as a two output extension of a full bridge inverter. This full bridge inverter can control the two outputs, simultaneously and independently, up to their rated powers, which reduces the number of components required as compared with traditional approach. It also ensures higher utilization of switches used for its operation. A closed loop controlled two output series resonant inverter system is modeled and simulated using Simulink. The results of closed loop system are presented.
