Measurement of Electricity for Individual Devices Using Microcontroller
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Electricity is something critical that has driven the presence of human life so natural. Additionally, it has reduced the efforts of the human life. As of late, the interest for the power has seen a quick improvement by the utilization of various appliances. With the expansion of the power age the utilization has likewise observed the amazing development. This makes the general population to be uninformed of the power devoured by the distinctive machines. The per capita utilization of power was. A power meter was utilized to calculate the energy consumed by the appliances. The real downside of this is. The project utilizes the PIC primarily centers lessening the utilization of power by doing some imperative work. Power supply is given for the working of the controller and the appliances. The individual appliances are connected and the energy consumed is calculated by the energy meter. By utilization of RTC the vitality devoured at the specific time is shown in the LCD. From this measurement, the power consumed, date, time and name of the device are displayed on the LCD monitor. A GSM based wireless communication module is interfaced with the controller that enables the remote access at the usage of electricity. The GSM module sends the message (SMS) to the customer of the electricity usage. This makes the venture increasingly solid by knowing the essential utilization and help the general population in observing the cash spend for some unused power. This is an efficient method for examination of the power.
