Aqueous extracts of Mucanapruriens, Strychnosnux vomica and Tamarindusindica seeds were checked for the antidote properties against Daboiarusselli and Echiscarinatusvenoms by in vitro methods. Various in vitro neutralization tests like proteolytic activity, Direct and Indirect hemolysis activity of various seed extracts against Daboiarusselii and Echiscarinatus venoms were carried out and all the seed extracts were effectively neutralized the toxic effects induced by the venoms. Only Mucanapruriens seed extract also exhibited antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (7mm), Pseudomonas sp. (9 mm), E. coli (6mm), Klebsiella sp. (7mm) and Proteus sp. (9mm) by well-cut method. These results suggest that these seed extracts possess some compounds which involved in neutralizing the main toxic effects of the Daboiarusselii and Echiscarinatus venoms.
