An Automation Framework for Product Performance Testing on Cloud

Cloud computing is an emerging technology that provides on demands services such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) over the internet. Its effective unlimited storage, quick availability of infrastructure with scalability, flexibility. However testing an enterprise application on the cloud is a very difficult and error-prone process due to large number of test scenarios and difficulties in testing process. Performance Automation Framework plays an important role in testing large number of tests of product on cloud. The Performance Automation Framework allows us to download the required product specific build from organization’s active directory through VPN connection, installation of it, after installation there would be different step depending upon different products i.e. sometimes required build jar or sometimes required to compile java file, Plan and sequential tests execution, collect the result of executed tests and finally generates graph on the basis of collected results.
