Heart disease, also known as Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD), enfolds a number of conditions that influence the heart. CVD is the major cause of fatalities in almost all the countries including India. It kills a person once in every thirty-four seconds in the US. Cardio Vascular Disease comprises of wide range of conditions that affect the heart & blood vessels and the way in which blood is pumped and circulated through the body. In such conditions, the process of diagnosis is highly obscured and crucial task that needs to be performed precisely and diligently. The diagnosis is generally carried out based on experience and knowledge of the doctor concerned but it leads to vague results and increased treatment costs to the patients. Thus, a systematic diagnosis model would be highly advantageous. This effort tries to portray the detailed study about the various data mining techniques which can be used in the systematic diagnosis models.

Abstract

Heart disease, also known as Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD), enfolds a number of conditions that influence the heart. CVD is the major cause of fatalities in almost all the countries including India. It kills a person once in every thirty-four seconds in the US. Cardio Vascular Disease comprises of wide range of conditions that affect the heart & blood vessels and the way in which blood is pumped and circulated through the body.
