Review of MANET Protocols and Introduction of a New Optimized Routing Scheme Using Evolutionary Algorithms and Analytical Hierarchy Process

A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a type of Wireless Network in which there is no centralized control and and it has dynamic topology. The main concept of this paper is based on use of intelligent techniques like Evolutionary Algorithms and Analytical Hierarchy Process for Mobile ad hoc networks routing techniques which can be used for modeling an optimized routing scheme for mobile ad hoc networks. A brief overview and tabular comparisons of existing routing protocols is given which is compared with a protocol based on multi objective decision criteria. A new secured optimized routing scheme based on Evolutionary Techniques and Analytical Hierarchy Process is introduced in this paper and encryption techniques are also employed to make the route secure.
