Performance Comparison of Selected Diversity Relaying Techniques in Wireless Ad-Hoc Network for Equidistance Geometry
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Motivated by recent survey on relay channels and cooperative diversity, this paper presents the performance comparison of selected relay techniques. Cooperative diversity provides high data rate coverage in future wireless communication by reducing fading. In cooperative diversity various relay techniques are used. Relay techniques and distance between nodes have great impact on the transmitted signal performance. Two selected relaying protocol amplify and forward (AAF), decode and forward (DAF) are observed by virtue of different parameters in equidistance environment. Results reveals that in equidistance position DAF relay protocol with error correction code is better than amplify and forward relay protocol. It is experimentally shown that DAF with maximum ratio combining( MRC) technique shows best results whereas AAF shows good results with signal to noise ratio combing(SNRC) and enhanced signal to noise ratio combing(ESNRC)and also AAF gives the good performance at low signal to noise ratio (SNR)at the same time DAF shows worse performance at low SNR.
