Aim: The aim of the study was to present a case in which periapical healing occurred with the use of white Portland cement (WPC) mixed with ZnO to create an apical plug in the ischolar_main of an immature tooth. Summary: Radiographic examination indicated an immature tooth with a wide open apex. The canal was mechanically cleaned using intracanal instruments and 5% NaOCl irrigation. WPC powder was then mixed with ZnO and saline and delivered to the apical portion of the canal (approx 3 mm). The remainder of canal was filled with laterally condensed gutta percha. Clinical follow up 1 year later revealed completed ischolar_main formation, absence of clinical symptoms and no signs of periapical rarefaction.
