Nipah Virus: An outbreak in India

Nipah Virus (NiV) infection is an emerging zoonotic disease of public health importance in South-East Asia with high fatality rate.(1) The outbreak of this infection has wreaked havoc in India recently, as it has killed virtually all of its victims in the country so far.
