P16INK4a as a Biomarker in a Pap Smear With High-gGade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion - A Case Report

The Papanicolaou cervical smear is currently the commonest screening method used for early detection of cervical cancer and precancer. This case report describes the utility of one of the biomarkers, P16INK4, in determining the course of management in young women with precancerous conditions detected through the Pap smear.
