Technological facilities available in the digital era must be effectively and efficiently utilized by the society. This paper discusses the perception of students in higher education who pursued their degree courses in various disciplines at the Annamalai University in Tamil Nadu regarding the Internet. The study analyzes the respondents' behaviour in relation to the Internet in various aspects such as Awareness of IT, Purpose of Internet Access, and Frequency of Access etc.
