Important Characteristics and Brief Aspects of Spinel Magnesium Aluminate for Refractory Engineering

Spinel is class of material used for various versatile applications mainly in the field of refractory for iron steel industries, non-ferrous metals, cement making and for high temperature composites. Magnesium aluminate is the most popular spinel grade materials used for the above mentioned industrial applications. In the present article, a focus is attempted on the overview of synthesis using various routes along with characterization of compound having various engineering applications.
