Palm oil will perhaps be the liquid fuel of the future as per one group, but for the other the raw material before all may cause rain forest destruction. To the first group belongs the mineral oil concern Neste OU. The Finnish firm has started now the world's biggest biodiesel plant in Singapore with an investment of 550 million Euros. Yearly 800,000t biodiesel will be produced from renewable raw materials. The firm will then become the global market exporter with the production capacity of about 2 million tons.
