Look into the Present National Policy on Education

The Government of India adopted in August 2009 National Policy on Education, which was approved by the President of India on 26.8.2009. This has been named as the Right of Children to free and compulsory education Act 2009 which was gazetted on 27.8.2009. One of the articles of the act is that there should be no detention in any class at present upto class eight and in course of time, it will be extended upto secondary level. It must be kept in mind the goals and objectives of education.
