In developing countries, an explosion in population and rapid industrialization, commercialization, and urbanisation generate thousand kgs of solid waste every day. This abysmal state of solid waste and its unscientific and improper management inspired me for this work. Wastes are categorized into qualitative and quantitative basis. The present study is focusing on a qualitative basis because it helps in reduction and reuse of solid waste.
