Increasing energy demands has brought about the necessity of exploring newer sources of natural gas and crude oil and the necessity of enlarging the construction activities of pipeline for transportation of oil, gas and associated products. Transmission pipelines have long been recognized as an economical method of transporting fluids and gases over long distances.
