Indian Stainless Steel Electrodes-Progress and Problems in their Manufacture and Use

It is an acknowledged fact today that commendable progress has been made by indigenous electrode manufacturers almost continuously over the past sixteen years in the manufacture of stainless steel electrodes as also in a remarkably wide range covering numerous categories. As a result, only a very small portion of the country's needs has to be met through imports. Even this quantum is being progressively reduced with introduction of appropriate indigenous brands.
