A Framework for a Nurse-Led Youth Friendly Reproductive and Sexual Health Services (YFRSHS) For HIV/Aids Prevention

In India People in the age group of 15-29 years (youth) comprise almost 25 percent of the country's population; however they account for 31 percent of AIDS Burden (NACO, 2010). These young adults face a lot of reproductive health risks. However, the major health problems are largely preventable (Tylee, et al., 2007). It is a challenge for health care providers including nurses to meet the service demands of youth. There is paucity of adolescent friendly health services.
