Research methodology: A pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test research design was selected for the study and non probability convenient sampling technique was used to select 60 students. A self structured questionnaire was prepared to collect the data before and after the planned teaching. Findings: The value of "p" is <0.001, there is significant increase in the knowledge level of college students regarding female foeticide hence the planned teaching is effective. In pre test total score is less (MEAN is 11.24 and SD is 2.00) where as the total score of post test increases (MEAN is 17.22 and SD is 2.07) with the "t' value of 14.392, through effective planned teaching.
