Introduction: Leucorrhoea is an abnormal condition in which the usual vaginal discharge that is whitish, odorless and sticky changes its consistency, color, and period leading or occurring by infection or other disorder. Aim of the Study: The aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching program on leucorrhoea among nursing students in HGPI kala-amb. Material and Methods: A quantitative research approach with pre-experimental research design was adopted. Total 60 students were taken by non-probability purposive sampling technique to identify the knowledge regarding leucorrhoea. Collected data was analysed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Study findings shows that out of 60 students, according to age the majorities 58.3% were in the age group of 19-20 and least 6.7% in the age group of ≥21, according to religion most of students 85% were from Hindu religion and least 1.7% was from Muslim religion; according to type of family among nursing students the majorities 76.7% were from nuclear family and least 23.3% were from joint family ;according to socio-economic status among nursing students the majorities 51.7% had income 11,000- 15,000 and very least 1.7% had income ≥5000; the majority 83.3% had suffered from leucorrhoea previously and very least 16.7% had not suffered from leucorrhoea previously; and the majority 83.3% had attended health education program and very least 16.7% had not attended health education program. The result shows that the mean post-test knowledge scores (X2=13.98) was apparently higher than the mean pre-test knowledge scores (X1=9.30) because the difference between mean is 4.68 and standard deviation in pre-test is 2.01, in post-test is 1.85 and the paired t-test value is 0.001 i.e. significant. Conclusion: In the present study, the effectiveness of the structured teaching program is significant The mean post-test knowledge scores (X2=13.98) was apparently higher than the mean pre-test knowledge scores (X1=9.30) and the difference between mean is 4.68.
