Gender can be construed as a cultural frame for co-ordinating behavior and organizing social relations. As sociologists most of us are structuralists who perceive gender as inequality ischolar_mained in broad organizational and institutional structures with strong material bases. It is a multilevel structure of institutions of social practices involving reinforcing processes at the structural level, institutional level and individual level.
