Wetland Conservation:Indian Scenario-Review
Water is the essential substance. The demand and value of water is being increased in a burgeoning rate. Depending upon several regions in the world, depending on several parameters like: amount of heavy rainfall, texture of soil etc are certain factors, which influence the availability of water. wetlands means land consisting of marshes or swamps; saturated land. Wetlands have been under constant threat of environmental degradation due to natural as well as anthropogenic activities. There is a thought of wet land as waste land amongst the human population. The review paper, deals with the ecological importance of wetland as an important natural resource, and the laws enabled to protect the wet lands.
