From the President

A simple resolution of the Executive Council adopted at its meeting held on 24.06.2010 and subsequently okayed at the last Annual Gereral Meeting (90th) held on 28.06.2011 highlights two points.

1. The Association's Centenary falls due in 2019 and

2. A precentenary volume of journal be published which may be of help to those running AEI about eight years hence to publish a centenary volume of journal as appropriate to mark One Hundred Years of Existence, twenty eight years under alien foreign domination when naturally the organization, AEI, established to fight against the discriminatory practice meted out to the Indian Engineers as against foreign counterpart, could not expect any recognition of the then Government, no better treated with the change of guard of the country. The reason is not far to seek.
