This work presents the effect of various input process parameters on weld bead geometry of mild steel plate in double pulse gas metal arc welding. Bead penetration, bead width and bead height are considered as output parameters. Fuzzy model is developed to predict the geometry of weld bead and are compared with experimental values. The mean analysis is performed to know the effect of each input parameters on output parameters. It is observed that wire feed rate and welding speed have more effect on bead geometry whereas amplitude has the least effect. It is also found that fuzzy model can predict the output parameters with good accuracy in double pulse gas metal arc welding.
