In this Rainy Season 2017, Volume 87 No.1&2, January-June, 2017 issue of the Journal of the Association of Engineers, India is being published. Readers of the journal are habituated with the Column of the President of the Association, Prof. Dr. Madhusudan Bhattacharyya;however, due to sickness of Prof. Bhattacharyya, this column cannot be included in this issue. Let us all hope for quick recovery of Him so that this column can be commenced from the next issue of the journal.
