The Golden Jubilee Commitee organised the following seminars in the auditorium of C. M. P. O at Rabindra Sarani, Calcutta.

Two essayists' seminars, one in English and the other in Bengali were held on 10th and 11th July, 1969 respectively. Professor Khounish Chandra Roy, Chief engineer, Howrah Improvement Trust, presided over the English seminar on the 10th July. The participants included Sri U. P. Mallick, Dr. Balaram Bose of Jadavpur University, Sri S. P. Chowdhury of Medical Journal and Sri A Deb.
